The motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 350 in BS6 engine. The company is also going to bring its other bikes in the BS6 engine. The Classic 350 bike is the first Royal Enfield bike launched with a BS6 engine. The company has said that by March 31, its other motorcycles will also come on the market with BS6 engine.
Electronic Fuel Injection Technology
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 features air-cooled twin spark electronic fuel injection technology. While the BS4 model had a carburetor. At the same time, this bike with BS6 engine will get oxygen sensor, new catalytic converter on bend pipe, large heat shield plate with updated exhaust muffler. In addition, this time the Classic 350 BS6 has two new features. It has alloy wheels and tubeless tires standard in the Royal Enfield Classic 350, available in Stealth Black and Gunmeter Gray color.
The engine
The torque and power of the Classic 350 BS6 engine is not yet known. However, the current BS4 engine produces 19.8hp power and 28Nm torque. At the same time, 5-speed transmission can be given in the new bike. However, the company says the electronic fuel injection system will help improve engine refinement, drive ability, and cold start ability.
Two new colors
The updated Classic 350 has also been launched in two new color options (Stealth Black and Chrome Black). Apart from this, the bike will also be available in the earlier Signals Airborne Blue, Signals Stormrider Sand, Gunmetal Gray and Classic Black Color.
Cost
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.65 lakh. The price of BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 with dual channel ABS is about 11 thousand rupees more than the BS4 model with dual channel ABS of the bike.
Warranty and booking
Along with launching the Classic 350 BS6, the company has said that all its BS6 motorcycles will come with a 3-year warranty and 3-year road side assistance. Booking for the new Classic 350 with BS6 engine has started. This bike can be booked by paying 10 thousand rupees.
